My new site remains a liaison for friends and family and also functions as a link for those who have met me at Gallery on the Row.

One of the features of my new site is this blog, which I will use to update everyone to my photographic activities and especially to events associated with Gallery on the Row.

The site is a work in progress . . . and will likely remain so for a month. But do visit the site. Feedback is always welcome!

I haven't yet decided if and how images on this site can be purchased. Right now I prefer that you contact me directly to work out details such as print size, paper choice, margins, margin color, etc. Image files that are sized exactly to print dimensions are always superior to the one size fits all approach. Another issue is that brightness of a print file almost always must be adjusted. Why? . . . because computer images are backlit, while prints are viewed with reflected light.

I'd love to hear from you!

Last July Angela and I spent a week in Myrtle Beach. Because the morning and evening light seemed problematic . . . and because the beach faces almost due south, I was generally disappointed in my images. However, a couple of images jumped out at me recently. One is below. It's a swipe where the horizon remains crisp with the use of a Really Right Stuff leveling pano head.
